The business group created by Rafael Gomez Sanchez in the 1970s is now composed of over 30 companies. An example of this is the groups recent expansion into new areas such as the building and operation of Xanits Hospital at Benalmadena. Also the recent acquisition of the Amusement park "Tivoli World" also in Benalmadena. Which has an annual influx of Over 700,000 tourists.
The Groups first company RGS Joyeria now sells Jewellery to clientele all over the world and is extremely well know through out Spain. With the watch brand "Paul Versan" becoming a strong international trade mark.
Arenal 2000s head office is based in Cordoba and the main office on the Costa del Sol has recently been opened in Marbella.

Arenal 2000 now builds homes in all of southern Spain, with 11,000 homes currently under construction.
